Distortion

and I'm not talking about distortion as in the one used in electric guitars.

I was looking for the video of the song God is Great - Hillsong, when this came up as one of the searches.

It either means that my keywords for search is lousy, or it means that there are so many people reading it, it is one of the top searches in Google search.

This website totally distorts the word of God, beware. I believe that many people are being led astray because of this site, since there are many responses in their Q&A section, and that their posts are frequent and recent.

Long time no update!

Had my first French class yesterday. 6pm to 8pm, a first for me too, to have late late classes.

Learned quite a lot of things, other than the weird pronunciations and all. Above all, I can see why French is considered the language of love. They want music in the sentences they say. They want music in how they sound.

三思而后行

The literal translation of the title above is to "think trice before making an action". I guess the Chinese of old never talked much. They showed what they think with action. In our context, I believe this phrase should be modified to "三思而后说", which literally means to "think thrice before speaking".

Since in our time we seldom do things, but rather we talk talk and talk about things, this phrase should be well suited to us. We can give "feedback", "comments", even those "constructive" ones, but the question is... Have we thought through what we speak of?

Yes, actions speak louder than words, but words speak right to the heart.

The feedback session, or whatevertheycallit, is to my opinion, immature, not well though of, and a waste of my time. I believe if they give themselves some time to think through their "requests", they will see that the requests are... (some descriptive words that I do not want to mouth* out)

*should be "type out" rite... haha

Towards Ipoh International Run

In order to survive this run, I needed to crank up my mileage. Two days ago, I redid my 15k. Today, I did 17.6k. Phew...

Time to rest my legs till the run, which is on this coming Sunday. Hopefully my legs can recover before the run to be tortured again. Wahahaha!

Standard Chartered KL 2009

I'll just say a few points about this run and why should every runner go for this run.

Firstly, it is organised by Standard Chartered, which is very professional. They have everything organised for you. RFID bibs to smoothen and quicken the race time recording process, water stations in abundance and even volunteers to cheer you on!

Secondly, stan chart has LOTS of money. So, they block off all the major roads to ensure that you have a smooth and flat run. NICE! This is like the ONLY run in KL that is flat, as far as my experience tells me.

However, the only thing is that their goodies are too pricey. Meaning that their goodies are actually good, with loads of discounts, but will still require you to pay in order to enjoy the discount. For example, a full body scan, which my friend says will cost up to a thousand ringgit, they give it to you for about 300+. Err... Wonderful discount, I must admit, but still a bit pricey for me eh?

However, all in all this is a good run and I would recommend EVERYONE to go experience this big event. More than 13,000 people registered you know...
